Why are the bond and levy on the ballot?
- The district needs emergency funds to avoid additional reductions in staff and services.
- Most of our schools are 50+ years old and in desperate need of repair.
- Teachers and staff lack the resources and facilities they need to properly educate students.
- There are safety and security issues at every building in the district.
How will the bond and levy impact me?
Student and Parents
Avon Lake students are at the heart of this initiative. Improved facilities and more resources mean better learning environments for students, which will directly impact academic performance and overall well-being. Voting for the bond and levy ensures that our Shorekids receive the best possible education in a safe environment.
